2. "Spud"-tacular Potato Dig | August 16, 2025 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Head to Country Barn for a fun and tasty farm experience!
Potatoes are already dug up, just pick your own and, for $2 per pound, have them turned into their famous fresh-cut fries right on-site.
Make a full day of it with Barnyard Kingdom activities like the tater sack slide, cow train, and more family fun.
3. Picnic Tour Tasting | August 16, 2025 8:30 AM –10:00 AM
Sip, snack, and explore the unique flavors of Kitchen Kettle Village.
Sip, munch, and stroll through Kitchen Kettle Village on their self-guided Picnic Tasting Tour, which is a delicious way to discover local flavors at your own leisure! For just $25 (plus tax and fees), you can sample large portions from various restaurants, bakeries, and specialty food shops throughout the Village.
4. Annual Ice Cream Social | August 17, 2025 1:00 PM –4:00 PM
History Never Tasted So Sweet!
Cool off and enjoy a delicious afternoon at the Manheim Railroad Complex's Annual Ice Cream Social, which runs from 1 to 4 p.m. The Stone Soup String Band will perform live music at this family-friendly event, which will also include Kreider's ice cream and local "Celebrity Dippers" from Manheim Central High School.
Explore Manheim's history with free tours of the air-conditioned railroad complex, which includes items from Henry W. Stiegel's iron and glassmaking firms, as well as a rebuilt 1881 train station. Weather permitting, board the vintage Birney trolley for a ride!
