Celebrate Lancaster

Your August guide to fun (7)

Mark your calendar, Celebrate Lancaster is coming this August 15!

Looking for something fun, local, and full of heart this summer? One of Lancaster’s most beloved community events is making its return and trust me, you won’t want to miss it.

Celebrate Lancaster is back, and it's always one of the highlights of the summer! The event runs from 11 AM to 9 PM along the 000 and 100 blocks of North Queen Street.

Also known as Lancaster Day, this two-day celebration honors the city’s rich history, culture, and vibrant community spirit. Expect everything from historical tours and talks to live music, dancing, and plenty of entertainment throughout the day.

Speaking of Entertainment...

Celebrating Lancaster isn’t just about history and culture, it's also packed with fun for all ages. Expect to see face painting, personalized banners and jewelry, henna tattoos, and a whole lot more happening throughout the day.

And let’s be real, with all that excitement, you're bound to get hungry. Luckily, there’ll be plenty of food vendors offering a wide variety of delicious options, showcasing the diverse cultures that make Lancaster so special. Grab a plate, find a spot, and enjoy your meal to the sound of live music filling the streets.
